Big win for Bellary HC

BANGALORE: Bellary HC went on a goal spree against Dhyan Chand HC in the State C Division hockey league at the KSHA stadium here on Thursday. Bellary HC won 6-1.

Lakshman (2), Shasu (2), Bharath and Rajesh were the goalgetters for Bellary HC while Sohan had struck an early goal for Dhyan Chand HC.
Narrow win

St. Charles posted a 20-19 victory over Baldwin in the girls’ semifinals of the Clarence HS-conducted inter-School basketball tournament here. The teams were tied 10-all at half-time.

St. Charles will play Sophia’s in the final. Sophia’s registered a 30-17 win over New Horizon.

The results: Semifinals: Boys: Innisfree 38 (Suhas 16) bt FAPS 27 (Karan 13); Bishop Cotton 34 (Anubhav 12, Rishab 10) bt Bethany 18.

Girls: St. Charles 20 bt Baldwin 19; Sophia 30 (Roshini 13) bt New Horizon 17.
Selection trials
