B’lore BSNL bags special prize

BANGALORE: On the second day of BangaloreIT.

biz 2008 held in the city, BSNL, Bangalore Telecom District, bagged the special prize in the Hardware and Infocom category.

The award was presented by Minister for IT and BT, Katta Subramanya Naidu, to the Deputy General Manager (PR and Marketing) BSNL, Bangalore Telecom District, Krishna Moorthy.

About 50 stalls from within and outside the country displayed their items and services in the category. BSNL exhibited all kinds of value-added services and sale of mobile SIM cards and currencies of various denominations.

Added to it, live booking of landline broadband was also introduced. Data, IN, VSAT, web conferencing, video conferencing, EVDO, NIC card, FWT and Games on Demand (GoD) were the services that were explained to the visitors.

“Of all the services, a huge demand for EVDO cards and broadband services was witnessed,” said Krishna Moorthy.
