District council for child welfare, Panchkula, has chalked out a list of competitions that it will be organisng on Children’s Day, November 19. The competitions will be held for both the junior and senior category of students..

DISTRICT COUNCIL for child welfare, Panchkula is organising various competitions on the occasion of Children’s day on November 19.

Giving details about the programmes a spokesman of the council said that in junior group, students of class three to sixth will take part. The senior group will be open for students from seventh to twelfth standard.

He said that solo song and solo dance competitions in senior and junior groups, poetry recitation and clay modeling in junior group, fancy dress competition in junior group, quiz competition and declamation contest in senior group would be held in Government girls’ college, sector 14, Panchkula.

Similarly, pot painting competition in senior group and greeting card making competition in junior group would be held in Government girls senior secondary school, sector 15, Panchkula and spot essay writing competition and spot poster making competition in senior group would be held in Sarthak Government Model School, Sector 12, Panchkula.
