Mumbai: State Bank of India's card business arm SBI Card has entered into an agreement with public sector lender Dena Bank to jointly launch credit cards for the latter's customers.
The cards, which will come in two variants -- Gold International -- will have international acceptance and value added features like attractive reward points and easy investment plans, SBI Card's CEO Diwakar Gupta told reporters here.
The card has been launched in association with international credit card franchise Visa International.
"The partnership will not only support Dena Bank's efforts to expand their product offerings, but will also provide a differentiated value proposition to the SBI Dena Bank cardholders," Gupta said.
Other key features of the card include, balance transfer, fuel freedom, flexi pay, E-statements and SMS alerts, easy money draft and cash access at ATMs, he said. Dena Bank has targeted to sell around 20,000 cards by the end of next calendar year, Gupta said.
