Got my supermarket flyer for next week today, as usual it has sales on Lean Cuisines, Slimfast, rice cakes, canned fruits, workout DVDs, big sale on cottage cheese (I'll take the full fat, please!), also grapefruit (yummy, but not with meds, sorry).
Starting Monday Oprah is having a week of help yourself shows. The first is Monday with weight loss, I know Bob Greene is on it. I'm hoping he gets her off the starches. My tv station that carries Oprah is doing there own Oprah extra show. So if I watch the news, I will see her message over and over throughout local and Good Morning America, Live on 5, etc. I hope she eats well.
Went by the health club in the trendiest neighborhood on Friday, parking lot was full. I don't exercise out of the house, but I know a little exercise helps me every day, not just alot for just the first of the year. I have herniated discs, but I crave moving my body; I have been off work for 6 months.
Everyone wants to feel better, I wish we could do it all year and not let corporations, tv shows, news programs and food companies tell us when to or how to. Maybe people wouldn't wait til January to try. I think some want us to fail, so that we can try again every year.
