
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "The customs people had never come across that kind of volume of towels for personal use before, or the cost given for them. People in Montenegro just aren't used to spending that much on a towel."
The singer is set to perform in Budva city tomorrow (25.09.08).This is not the first time Madonna's tour has encountered a problem.
Earlier this month, it was claimed her tour crew were threatening to quit.Some of the 250 staff were said to feel they were being treated like "second class citizens" after being given cheap hotel accommodation while Madonna stayed in luxury hotels.
A source said: "People were absolutely furious with her and some of them want to walk out of the tour."
