Orange County’s own sexy swimmer Amanda Beard knows how to make a splash. The former Olympic gold medalist caused a stir in 2007 when she posed nude for Playboy, and again in 2008 when she posed nude for an eye-catching, anti-fur, ad campaign for animal-rights group PETA.

Some (not us) thought her pictures went over the line.

So we wondered what Amanda thought of Olympian Michael Phelps’ controversy-of-the-moment: caught smoking pot at a party.
