Sara Kuszak, 5 Months Pregnant, Murdered During Puerto Rico Trip

Sara Kuszak was five months pregnant, engaged and looking forward to the rest of her life. Then, on Wednesday, while vacationing in Puerto Rico with her fiancé and friends, this Georgia woman’s future was cut short after her morning jog turned deadly.

According to reports, Kuszak was abducted, stuffed into the trunk of a car and found murdered in a field. While in the trunk, Kuszak managed with her cell phone to call a marina employee and provide them with a description of the kidnapper’s car. The employee then called 9-1-1. Unfortunately, it was too late.

Based on Kuszak’s information, police arrested a local man whose clothing was covered with blood. He was not immediately charged, the Associated Press reports, and claimed the blood came from his brother’s horses. "He saw the woman and kidnapped her," said Lt. Angel Ocasio. "He didn’t take anything. He stole her life." This is just terrible, gruesome and makes us question humanity. Our hearts go out to Kuszak’s family.
