Cousin of Nicholas Turturro, John Turturro, Ralph Turturro, Amedeo Turturro and Diego Turturro.

She has been a long-time friend of her "The Sopranos" (1999) co-star James Gandolfini. In addition to their work on this hit show, they have appeared in three feature films together: Angie (1994), Fallen (1998) and Romance & Cigarettes (2005), and have co-starred in a 1992 Broadway revival of "A Streetcar Named Desire", which also starred Jessica Lange and Alec Baldwin.

Played Mayor Dawgmeat in the SUNY New Paltz production of Li'l Abner her senior year (1984).

Played James Gandolfini's daughter in Romance & Cigarettes (2005) and his sister in "The Sopranos" (1999).
