One killed in fire in east Delhi

NEW DELHI: One person was killed and two others injured in a fire at east Delhi's Gautam Puri area.

The fire broke out at 12.30 am last night in a slum colony near the Shastri Park Metro station killing 19-year old Chumman, sources said, adding the injured includes her husband Iqbal and father-in-law Afzal.

The cause of the fire was not yet known, they added. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Shahadara.
