Real Madrid have confirmed that they will not be pursuing their interest in AC Milan playmaker Kaka.
The Brazil international tried to sign the 25-year-old in the summer, while the Rossoneri have always insisted the player was not for sale.
Real's sporting director Predrag Mijatovic told Marca: "(Real Madrid) can't allow itself to waste too much time on something that is extremely difficult to obtain.
"We've spoken a lot about this player over the past year-and-a-half.
"Everybody likes him, but we know his situation and where he is playing. We'll move on to something else."
