Three held for dowry death

MUMBAI: The Dahisar police arrested three persons of a family on charges of abetting suicide of their daughter-in-law. A 22-year-old woman, Reshma, set herself on fire on August 25 in the bathroom of her Bori-vli residence after she was allegedly tortured by her in-laws for dowry.

Reshma was admitted to hospital and died the next day. The police have arrested her husband, Sadanand Yadav (24) and his parents.
