Channel surfing: Can you please repeat that?

It’s a week till Christmas, and the broadcast networks are doing their best to help the economy by airing a load of reruns so you can go out and shop! OK, so that’s not really the reason for the repeats, at least a couple of which are worth watching. And there are even a few first-run shows on the schedule.

Secret Millionaire: The uplifting reality series, in which millionaires go undercover to work in impoverished areas, airs its season finale with a Salt Lake entrepreneur lending aid to down-and-out people in Las Vegas. 7 p.m., KDFW/Channel 4

Million Dollar Password: The game show returns with a special Thursday premiere before settling back into its regular Sunday time slot. William Shatner and Aisha Tyler are tonight’s celebrity players. 7 p.m., KTVT/Channel 11

30 Rock: Rock rolls out a couple of repeats from this guest-star-heavy fall, and in both cases, the subplots are at least as entertaining as the main ones: In the first, Jenna and Tracy (Jane Krakowski and Tracy Morgan) have a politically incorrect feud that almost upstages Oprah Winfrey; in the second, members of the Night Court cast simultaneously steal the show from Jennifer Aniston and help Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) realize a long-standing dream. 8:30 and 9 p.m., KXAS/Channel 5

Secrets of the Kung Fu Temple: The secrets go back 1,500 years in this documentary that visits Shaolin Temple, but the present is pretty commercial, considering that you can buy monk-blessed souvenirs there. 9 p.m., NGC

Faith Hill, Joy to the World: A Soundstage Event: This was on CMT’s schedule earlier this month, but it was pulled at the last minute. PBS has it now, as the country/pop queen performs a mix of secular and sacred Christmas music. 10 p.m., KERA/Channel 13
