Musician joins staff at music shop

Julie Berman, violinist, has joined the staff of The Music Box in Poughquag.

She will teach private violin lessons at that location on Tuesdays between 2:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Berman has 20 years of experience teaching the violin to all ages. She is certified in the Suzuki Method, and teaches children as young as 4. She also teaches traditional violin to all ages.

Berman is an active player throughout the Hudson Valley, as a member of The Woodstock Chamber Orchestra and The Newburgh Symphony.
