Om Shanti Om in UK's top 10

LONDON: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's latest movie 'Om Shanti Om' has become a hit in Britain with the movie making its entry into UK's Top 10 films, with a revenue collection of USD 2,001,834 so far.

'Om Shanti Om' is being shown across 1,400 plus screens globally. It saw first week gross collections of USD 13.5 million in India and USD 2 million in North America.

According to reports, 'Om Shanti Om', released with a World Premiere here on November 9, 2007, has so far grossed over USD 19 million from India and overseas in the first week.

According to the latest revenue figures in the UK, American Gangster is heading the list with a gross to date USD 5,280,819 followed by Beowulf and Ratatouille.

The film is produced by Red Chillies entertainment and directed by Farah Khan.
