Meera in a family entertainer

Meera Jasmine has been signed up to play the lead in director Raja Vannemreddy's upcoming venture Maa Aayana Chanti Pilladu.

Sivaji is playing the lead in the flick being produced by Bekkam Venu Gopal. Incidentally, Meera Jasmine had worked with Sivaji, in Ammayi Bagundi in 2003.

" Maa Ayana Chanti Pilladu is a remake of the Tamil hit En Purushan Kolandha Maadhiri. I am confident the movie will be a big hit in Telugu too," says Meera. The movie also stars Venu Madhav, Chandra Mohan, Brahmanandam, Annapoorna. MM Srilekha is composing the music.
