For John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, there seems to be no getting away from rumours.
From break-up to infidelity to marriage rumours, they have been through the complete roller-coaster. But as they came visiting the city, it was being whispered again that they had got engaged in a hush-hush ceremony.
While John Abraham came up with a dry, “And then people accuse me of being media shy”, Bipasha was more forthcoming. “I guess we will be asked questions about our personal lives till we are somebody. But engaged! However, marriage is not on the cards for sure. We respect each other and our relationship. That is the reason why we are sitting together, giving this interview,” Bips says.
Rumours apart, how is life? “Life is Beautiful... and that happens to be my favourite movie too,” is how John reacts.
This revelation from John gives Bips enough ammo. “What a depressing film,” she reacts, adding, “But then, John is a little bit of a Devdas anyway. He thinks too much and keeps on adding to his stress level! I, on the other hand, am a very in-the-moment person. If I am happy, I am extremely happy and if I am sad, I will show it too. John keeps things inside him. And I don’t understand his poetry either.”
Poetry? We never knew Johnny boy was a poet too? “Oh no, I don’t write poetry. It’s just that I am lost sometimes and want to be in my own world. Then I just sit in my room and look at the sea,” he explains.
It is now John’s turn to reveal something about Bips. “She is in a great physical shape these days. We are working together in the gym these days and she does better than me,” he smiles.
