We first mentioned about the Internet Explorer Problems yesterday, but it seems that the problem is much worse than we first thought. We knew that people ran the risk of users computers being hijacked, but I heard on the news today that one expert believes that people should use another browser instead of Internet Explorer.
The security flaw allows criminal gangs to take control of a computer and then steal their personal information, when they visit a corrupt website. It is thought that more than 10,000 websites have been compromised since last week.
Microsoft has said that they detected attacks on people’s machines that are using IE7, but they recognize that other versions of the browser are also being affected. Microsoft is actively investigating the vulnerability, and hopes to be able to offer a fix soon.
