Maine Maple Sunday

Head on to Maine, Portland today and join the Mainers for their Maine Maple Sunday! The event is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of March.

In celebration of spring, sugarhouses throughout Maine open their doors to allow the public to experience the making (and tasting too) of syrup.

In 2008, Maine was named the No. 3 syrup producer in the U.S., behind Vermont and New York.
