nora roberts northern lights: On Tonight: Nora Roberts Film; 'The Locator' Returns

There is a little more spice than usual for the latest Lifetime movie, "Nora Roberts' Northern Lights" (Lifetime, 9 p.m.) but not because of anything that happens in the film, the latest in a string of adaptations of Nora Roberts stories.
It's because stars LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have been rumored to be having a tryst long after filming stopped on the film, though both are married to others.
They were caught in a viral video making out in an L.A. restaurant. But Cibrian for one denies anything is going on.
Anyway, you can tune in and see if there is any detectible heat between them in the story of a Baltimore cop who moves to a small Alaskan town after the death of his partner and he meets Rimes, a plucky bush pilot. I think I'm more shocked by the fact that Rosanna Arquette plays her mother.
The series of films continues with "High Noon," starring Emilie de Ravin, Ivan Sergei and Cybill Shepherd April 4, and "Nora Roberts' Tribute" with Brittany Murphy and Jason Lewis April 11.

A look for a mother by a young woman never knew and the sister of a group of women who has been lost are the cases on the one-hour return of "The Locator" (WE, 9 p.m.). Troy Dunn, who tracks down loved ones on the series, is a little stiff on camera, especially in the contrived sessions with his staff.
It's UConn vs. Texas A&M (CBS, 3:30 p.m.) in the second round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, as part of another fill day of games.
The same-week rerun of "The Celebrity Apprentice" (NBC, 8 p.m.) is actually an hour longer than it was when it first appeard.
Also getting a same-week rerun, "Castle" (ABC, 10 p.m.), and "Dancing with the Stars" (ABC, 8 p.m.).
"Cops" (Fox, 8 p.m.) marks its 750th episode.
"What Happens in Vegas" (HBO, 8 p.m.) with Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz gets its premium cable premiere, as does "The Bucket List" *Cinemax, 10 p.m.), with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Also on: "Made of Honor" (Starz, 9 p.m.) starring Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan.
Singing cowboys is the theme on Turner Classic Movies, but not in the movies you're thinking of. Instead: "Cat Ballou" (8 p.m.), "Paint Your Wagon" (!0 p.m.), "Oklahoma!" (TCM, 1 .m.) and "On the Old Spanish Trail" (3:30 p.m.),
"Saturday Night Live" (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) is a rerun of the one hosted by Steve Martin with Jason Mraz musical guest. Katny Griffin hosts an episode of "MadTV' (Fox, 11 p.m.) featuring the work of Michael McDonald
