Central Maine Power has released a statement confirming that at least 83,000 homes and businesses were without power around 5 am this morning after a storm moved into the area.
A Northeast storm has moved into Maine, dumping more than a foot of snow in the state and cutting off power to nearly 100,000 homes and businesses.
Central Maine Power isn't the only provider who has lost their supply to unfortunate customers - Bangor Hydro Electric said admitted that 12,200 of their customers had no power early Monday morning.
The storm continues to move across the area, dumping several inches of snow for a late February treat.
