denizen hotels: Hilton Launches Denizen Hotels as Global Lifestyle Brand



Hilton Hotels Corp. has launched a new luxury global lifestyle brand called Denizen hotels (www.denizenhotels.com/), aimed at the ‘globally conscious modern traveler’.

The website says that “it’s an antidote to attidude… Born modern, with global appeal and a local accent, Denizen Hotels will become a cultural epicenter at each destination”



Negotiations are ongoing for Denizen resorts in major cities and destinations throughout the globe including Abu Dhabi, Austin, Beverly Hills, Buenos Aires, Cancun, Hollywood, Istanbul, Jerusalem, Las Vegas, London, Los Cabos, Miami, Montreal, Mumbai, New York City, Panama City and Washington D.C.

In a press statement, Ross Klein, Global Head Luxury & Lifestyle Brands, Hilton Hotels Corporation said that “The term denizen literally means ‘citizen of the world. We created this new brand in homage to guests who desire and deserve the best hotel experiences, both on an emotional and functional level. We are excited to introduce this new concept and look forward to welcoming the denizens of the world to our properties.”

Apparently it’s meant to appeal to the cross-section which exists at the intersection of corporate and pleasure travelers, offering both substance and style, innovative check-in experiences and aiming to use technology and smart design to ‘connect’ emotionally with guests. Denizen Hotels will have communal style society restaurant tables and rejunevation zones which will provide a personal technology-rich haven both before and after check-in.
