Recent reports claim the country singer has been seen canoodling with handsome actor Eddie Cibrian, with whom she’s working on the Lifetime film, Northern Lights. According to sources, the two entertainers had an instant connection and, unfortunately for their respective spouses, found themselves kissing over dinner. And that’s not all. Us Weekly elaborates on the "steamy" details:

The new Us Weekly features pictures taken from a video security camera that show the two holding hands and kissing on a romantic dinner date at Mosun and Club M in Laguna Beach, California on March 7. Additionally, Us Weekly reports that the new couple met for a three-hour tryst at the Malibu Beach Inn on March 14.

Rimes has been married to former dancer Dean Sheremet since 2002, one year after Cibrian wed model Brandi Glanville. Neither stars’ publicist offered any comment.
