Hollywood, CA (CNS) - The new Hallmark Channel movie, "Bound by a Secret" premieres this weekend on Saturday, March 7 and stars Lesley Ann Warren, Meredith Baxter and Timothy Bottoms.

Warren plays Jane Tetley, a glamorous soap opera star who is dealing with the fact that her recently-diagnosed cancer is terminal and wants her best friend, Ida Mae, played by Baxter, to be by her side for her final days.

Ida Mae has a hard time dealing with the news, but is even more devastated when she learns that Jane wants to come clean with a big secret that binds the two. Jane gave up her daughter years ago to be raised by Ida Mae as her own. The daughter, Kate, is played by Bridget Ann White.

The touching and heart wrenching story is sure to have viewers in tears and it sees the lives of women reconnect, intertwine and learn to open their hearts to new relationships. The movie also brings to light the obstacles faced when one is diagnosed with terminal cancer.

The movie will premiere at 9:00 pm on March 7 on the Hallmark Channel.
