PHOTOS! Here are pictures of former beauty queen Miss California 2003 Nicole Lamarche, now a pastor. Yes, Nicole Lamarche was 5th in the Miss America Beauty Contest as Miss California. Now she’s a pastor.

Said one report in 2007:

Nicole Lamarche, a pastoral resident at Wellesley Congregational Church for the past 2 years, bids farewell to the parish on Sunday. Lamarche, who finished 5th in the Miss America Pageant in 2003 as California’s representative, will be the Pastor of Cotuit Federated Church. Her fellow resident, Jennie Barrett Siegal (above, right, with Lamarche), is also leaving Wellesley to be the Associate Pastor of Old South Union Congregational Church in South Weymouth, Mass.

However, the church will keep its glamour quotient intact by bringing on board a new resident named Kent French who has a singing and acting background. Among his claims to fame were appearing in Showtime’s “Brotherhood” mob/politician series, singing at the Scullers jazz club in Allston and playing George Bailey from “It’s a Wonderful Life” on stage.

A report today about Nicole Lamarche in the Boston Globe has resulted in their servers crashing. Divine intervention? Unconfirmed reports put Nicole as Miss San Francisco before winning the Miss California competition in 2003.

Lamarche was an already on track to becoming a top minister when in the competition at the time.
