Penn State Altoona has the cure for cabin fever

Got the winter blues? Penn State Altoona’s Alumni Society knows just what you need to get rid of them! The group is hosting its annual Midwinter Dance Friday, February 13 at the Bavarian Hall in Altoona.

All are invited to kick up their heels, and shake the chill from their bones to the sounds 60s, 70s, and 80s music performed by local band, The Syrins. Snacks, club-priced drinks, raffle chances and door prizes are all part of the evening. Doors open at 7:45 p.m., and music and dancing begin at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets are $15 per person and must be purchased in advance. Individuals and businesses have the opportunity to purchase program advertisements and donate items for raffle.

Ticket, advertisement and donation information is available by contacting Penn State Altoona’s Alumni Office at 814-949-5104 or mmj113@psu.edu.

Proceeds benefit the Penn State Altoona Alumni Society’s student outreach programs.
