The Absecon Lighthouse is hosting “An Evening of Romance and Renewal” from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. Couples will have the opportunity to “make out” with their loved one in the lighthouse tower with catered aphrodisiacs on each level while dancing to romantic DJ spins. Everyone’s favorite elephant, Lucy, a historic 65-foot tall wooden monument built in 1881 and the world’s largest pachyderm, will play host to a romantic evening of dining and live music on February 14. A gourmet dinner will be prepared by award-winning chefs from Philadelphia and New Hope, complete with choice of five appetizers, five entrees, two sides, dessert and coffee. Each couple will receive a complimentary champagne toast in addition to a rose for ladies and bag of peanuts for gentlemen. Weather permitting, photos will be taken atop Lucy as a keepsake. Seven gourmet restaurants are located on level three of the Pier Shops, many of which will offer Valentine’s cocktails and cuisine.
