KABC TV gets roped into story

Channel 7 became part of the story yesterday when a distraught father who had just killed his family contacted the station to tell his side of the story. Ervin Lupoe is thought to have killed his wife and 5 children sometime Monday night. He then contacted KABC on Tuesday and said “I just returned home and my whole family's been shot." He also faxed a letter explaining his actions to the news station. KABC immediately informed the police who had also been contacted by Lupoe. The letter can be viewed here. I had heard somewhere last night that the handwritten statement at the end of the letter which reads “Oh lord my God is there no hope for a widow’s son?” is cry for help that only Masons would understand.
