MUSIC/SPORTS BITS: Dennis' 'Love'; Rihanna and Hartnett; A-Rod buys Shaq's house; Brown plugs math; Fats Domino in NY

*Bad Boy recording artist Cheri Dennis will release her new album "In and Out of Love" via iTunes on Tuesday (Nov. 13), but it won't be available in stores until Feb. 26 of next year. The Rodney Jerkins-produced track, "Remind You," is the iTunes Store's current "Single of the Week." The album will also include the Ryan Leslie-produced track "I Love You," which she released as a single last year. A major-market promotional tour will follow the album's release, with Dennis scheduled for a whirlwind of radio and press appearances across the country through December.

*Rihanna has finally admitted to dating Hollywood actor Josh Hartnett, reports Britain's The Sun. Rumors of a romance started flying after paparazzi caught the couple at New York club Pink Elephant. The singer reportedly told the newspaper: "I've fallen for him big time. I would be lying if I (said) we were not more than just friends. He is so hot and he is really sweet to me. When we hang out it feels right -- even though it's still pretty new."

*Miami Heat center Shaquille O'Neal has reportedly sold his mansion on celeb-packed Star Island to soon-to-be former Yankee Alex Rodriguez, according to a report yesterday on Daily Business Review's Web site. The NBA star, currently divorcing his wife Shaunie, has been trying to unload the property since the beginning of the year. He purchased the spot in 2004 for $18.8 million and has reportedly sold it for between $25 million and $27 million.

*Chris Brown is starring in a new video that promotes mathematics and fundraising to middle school students. The clip will be shown in thousands of schools as part of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-based Math-a-Thon program that has been running for nearly 30 years. Brown visited the Memphis, Tennessee, hospital last year and has been a steady supporter. "We can all make a difference in the lives of others," Brown said in a statement. "I'm proud to help St. Jude. I feel like I'm just a regular person helping out."

*Fats Domino will sign copies of the CD, "Goin' Home: A Tribute to Fats Domino" at the Borders book store in New York's Time Warner Center (10 Columbus Circle) tomorrow (Nov. 9) at 7 p.m. A portion of the CD sales will benefit The Tipitina's Foundation, a non-profit corporation dedicated to preserving the cultural legacy of New Orleans through music education for the youth and providing programs that support working musicians of New Orleans and the Gulf Region.
