Rick Springfield

Rick Springfield is an old name in music from the eighties. His best and most popular song was jessie’s girl which was a hit back in the day. Why are people suddenly interested in Rick Springfield again? Probably because he is in that new tv reality show “don’t forget the lyrics” which is on Fox after Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader. Rick Springfield is a has been and a half, I don’t even really recall all that much that he did yet his name is famous. I guess I wasn’t into that kind of music back then preferring blues and led zeppelin kind of stuff. Old rockers just don’t go away even though their time is passed. It makes me think of the Rolling Stones and Dusty Springfield. Rick Springfield, Dusty Springfield…I can’t keep them straight anymore with the passage of time. All I know is that Rick Springfield has a catchy name that you don’t forget and that is the lesson to be learned from his example. Did nothing but is somebody. Rick Springfield.
