(My Sportsbook) - The Philadelphia 76ers resume a season-long, seven-game homestand Saturday by welcoming the New Jersey Nets to the Wachovia Center.
The Sixers won the opener of the residency on Friday when Andre Iguodala scored 10 of his 20 points over the final five minutes to help secure a 104-94 Philadelphia win against the Washington Wizards.
Willie Green dropped a season-high 20 points, with 18 in the first half, while Lou Williams led the charge early in the second half with all of his 14 points coming over the final 24 minutes to go along with seven assists for the Sixers, who have won 10 of their last 12 games and improved to 13-9 on their home floor.
Thaddeus Young had 18 points and nine rebounds, and Andre Miller doled out a game-high nine helpers.
Sixers center Samuel Dalembert left the court with 1:54 remaining in the first half with a left ankle sprain and did not return. X-rays were negative.
Following Dalembert's departure Elton Brand started at center in the second half, where he provided each of his nine points while blocking four shots.
Brand will likely start in place of Dalembert tonight.
Philadelphia will also host Boston, Indiana, Miami, Phoenix and Memphis on its residency.
The reeling Nets, meanwhile, lost their third straight and for the eighth time in nine games on Friday when Marvin Williams recorded his fourth double- double of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds, and the Atlanta Hawks made short work of New Jersey, 105-88, at Philips Arena.
Devin Harris, who was chosen as an All-Star reserve on Thursday, dropped 20 points, doled out six assists and grabbed five boards for the Nets, who fell to 11-12 as the visitor on the year.
Vince Carter donated 18 points on a woeful 6-of-18 shooting performance while rookie Brook Lopez had 15 points in the setback.
New Jersey snapped a two-game losing streak to the Sixers with a 95-84 win in Philadelphia on December 6.
