
Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland returned to the stage in May, playing together for the first time in over 20 years.
At the Billboard Touring Awards in New York overnight, it was announced the group grossed more than $171 million from 53 shows, up until September 30.
Reaching a total audience of 1.5 million people thus far, the tour does not conclude until early next year, after further stops across the globe.
Justin Timberlake was also honoured at the event, receiving an award for his ongoing "FutureSex/LoveShow" tour, which is currently playing in Australia.
In the US, a total of 100 shows grossed over $115.8 million, with a total audience of more than 1.5 million people.
