The tunes that wooed...

Bringing the participants of a reality show to perform has become a trend in Lucknow but there are no guarantees on them being appreciated too.

This was witnessed at a bash organised by a club recently. Sadhna Swarup, the CEO of the company which organised the event said, “It’s my passion to organise such events. Earlier I was the host, now I am an organiser.” Coming down to perform was Falguni Brahmabhatt of Sa Re Ga Ma fame. Attired in black leather pants and an off shoulder top Falguni managed to play crowd puller but others weren’t so lucky. “Lucknow sangeet ka shaher hai and people have great knowledge of music, and I just love performing here.”

Another performance, by self-proclaimed rockstar Avjeet Roy who sang and danced on numbers Just Chill and Dus Kahaniyan got Bani Sethia and Saloni Bhatia to jeer who yelled, “Does he really know how to sing?” Adding a dash of entertainment was comedian Rajiv Thakur who made the crowd laugh with his jokes on housewives, husbands, politicians, even Bollywood actresses.Spotted: SBI CGM Shiva Kumar, his better half Meena Kumar, Khyati Datt, Jasneet Singh and Ashish Chaudhry.
