Kanye remixes Jacko

Kanye West, Akon and will.i.am have all contributed to a 25th anniversary edition of Michael Jackson's landmark "Thriller" album.

Reworked versions of songs featuring the trio of US music icons will appear on the re-release, when it emerges in 2008.

Kanye has remixed "Billie Jean", will.i.am "The Girl Is Mine" and "PYT", while he also features on a new take of "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" alongside Akon.

The new edition also includes the previously unreleased "For All Time", which did not make the final cut, plus other rarities including the demo for "Billie Jean".

The 25th anniversary edition of "Thriller" is out on February 25.
