* Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson welcomed a baby son late Thursday night. The 7 lbs, 11 oz. baby was named Bronx Mowgli Wentz.
* Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band were the winners of the Top Tour and Top Draw awards at this year’s Billboard Touring Awards. The Allman Brothers were honored with the Legends of Live prize, while Bonnaroo was named the Best Festival for the fourth time.
* The recently released New Order reissues are plagued with sound problems, with bassist Peter Hook calling them “a mess.” Rhino is working on fixing the audio and will offer replacement discs.
* Velvet Revolver and RCA have officially parted ways, according to Slash’s official website. “The band and RCA parted amicably. When they are recording the new album, it most likely will be for a new label,” read the post.
